The purpose of this organization is to educate and inform all Americans of the Founding Fathers principles of freedom, to advance public policy consistent with those values, and to engage with our elected officials in promotion of those principles.

STATEMENT REGARDING TEA PARTY ACTION COMMITTEE: Please be advised that the Greater New Orleans Tea Party is in no way associated with the Tea Party Political Action Committee, has not received any funds from said committee, does not sanction the actions of said committee, did not authorize the use of our name to that committee and that any action of said committee allegedly done for the benefit of the Greater New Orleans Tea Party is without authority of the Greater New Orleans Tea Party. Also be advised that the GNOTP has requested that the Tea Party Political Action Committee remove the Greater New Orleans Tea Party website link from the website of the Tea Party Political Action Committee and said request has been denied by the Tea Party Political Action Committee. Any contributions made to said Political Action Committee are not made for the benefit of the Greater New Orleans Tea Party and the Greater New Orleans Tea Party requests that you not make any contributions to said committee.
